KDE crashing!
Hi,
Pretty much a fresh install of Mandrake 9 I have here, I am trying to run the TuxRacer game demo that was included (I used to play it in windows no problem)
When I first installed Mandrake, TuxRacer was extremely choppy so I installed video drivers (doh!) from www.nvidia.com
Now it works fine, but after about 3 minutes of playing the screen starts to flash white (probably 15 times in intervals of 1 second) and then it locks. It will either:
Lock and stay there, no way out, hit reset is the only option
Lock, CTRL_ALT_BACKSPACE restarts X no problem
Lock, then will quit by itself and my monitor will be at a crazy resolution which looks like 320xwhatever (I used to play half life at that res)
Quits by itself
Any ideas?

Strange. It seems like it would be a driver malfunction, but I haven't yet had any trouble with the latest nVidia driver release. What version did you download? The latest is 1.0-4363.

Well, in that case I don't know what's wrong. Try posting a question on nVidia's support forums instead; they might know about it.
