Associating applications in Gnome
Hi all,
You all know how you can right click on files in the file browser bringing up a "open file with ..." menu?
I'm wondering how you get the "right" application name to appear in this menu - i.e. the name of the program instead of the command which runs it.
Very specifically, I just associated .rtf files with OpenOffice.org Writer and while this association works ok - .rtf files open in Writer when I double click them - when I right click on the file the application name appears as "oowriter" in the menu.
What I want to do is change this to display "Open Office Writer" rather than "oowriter" in the menu. Anybody know how?
Regards,
MH
