cannot access gnome control center
i am running fedora core 3 and i have been using kde for awhile without a problem. i just recently decided to try out gnome.
when i log into a gnome session i cannot find the control center to be able to customize the system. i can easily find it in kde, so i do not know what the problem is.
i am not sure what version of gnome i am using.
any ideas?

I don't even think there is a Gnome "control center" - there clearly is one on KDE, but configuration of the desktop environment in Gnome is done through Gnome Menu --> Settings. What is it you're trying to configure?

Open nautilus and browse "start-here:///"... There you can choose "settings" or "desktop preferences" or something, and then select the preferences you want to change...
