    KDE screensavers not showing

OK, now that I've managed to get my screen running at the resolution I want, now the screen savers in KDE aren't showing up in the desktop configuration applet.

Actually, they do show up if I log in as root, but if I'm logged in as a normal user, then the screen saver list is simply empty. Anyone have any ideas what it might be?

    Thanks,

I had similar problems once and everything worked after I installed gnome as well.
    I still run KDE though.
I am on a journey to mastering Linux and I got a bloody long way to go!!!
