Global Hotkeys To Change Song In XMMS
Is there a way to set up xmms or gnome to change song when i press a predefined key. i have set it up in gconf but those hotkeys do not work when i am playing enemy territory (quake engine game), the only hotkeys that work in enemy territory are the ones to change virtual terminals and hard restart x. Is there a way to change those somewhere
thx

In debian for global xmms hotkeys I use the package "xmms-xf86audio"
I set up the keys it uses using the program "gnome-keybinding-properties" though I'd assume there may be other ways to change the keys.
The one time I tried it didn't seem to want to work while in a game though but it might be worth a try still. Hope this helps.
