No Desktop as Root
I have MDK9.1 and When I log in as normal user in KDE(Kay's DE
) I have no problems, everything seems to be working fine, but if I log in as root, the Desktop disappears, and afet KDE loads, the mousepointer turns into a clock to indicate that it is busy and it just stays that way. I can only use the X-window bar at the bottom anything else is not visible, can anyone help??If I log in as root in GNOME, I do not get that problem.

Many programs don't behave as they should when you're root, since they don't want to be run as root. You shouldn't really log in to a DE as root anyway.
