    Hi Forum !

I am wondering, if there is any keylogger/screenlogger for X ?
What I need: If a user is surfing around or using a webmail solution, I want to know, what he is reading/writing.
Does anyone know a solution for this ??

    Thanks in advance !

If you are the admin of the domain the surfer is on, you can just check the surfers history and anything they put into a terminal.
If you are not the admin, sorry I can't help you.

Not to mention, it may soon be illegal to do so.

Now it becomes a network question.
If the computers are networked, you should be able to log on that person's computer as that user.
I think you have to telnet in or something like that.
Networking is not my strong suit, so I am not sure if that is accurate.

It is my own computer, I have full root rights.
So this should not be a question of rights or legal stuff, I think.

Then it makes it real easy.
    As root do

    su - hisusername

Now you can check history, open a terminal, use the up arrow, that will tell you what commands have been issued.
Bring up the browser, check history to see where he has gone.
