    video problems

    It could be that you're simply running mesa for opengl rather than any actual drivers for your video card. That is probably the most common problem. I used to play a game and before I found the ATI Drivers, I was getting very crappy FPS, but as soon as I kicked up the video drivers (and of course edited the x server config file to change the video driver) it became nice and beautiful
