    VNC startup

Hey guys…. Total newb here but getting better.

I’m running RHEL 4 on my machine for testing applications. Problem is out of no where (Seriously didn’t do anything) my vncserver just stopped working. Kinda weird, but you know. This issue has hit an area of the server that I’m not too familiar at. Here is the error:

Xvnc: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Now VNC shows to be running in ps aux sometimes which I find to be rather neat if you ask me. Now here is what I get for RPM packages:

    rpm -qa |grep vnc
    tightvnc-server-1.2.9-1
    vnc-server-4.0-8.1

I’ve written a script to get around the issue for now, buts that’s lame I like things to work correctly. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
