problem in kdevelop

I am a new developer. I try to make a kde applet. I open a project and design a user interface for my applet. After I run the ./configure, make and make install I can see my applet properly. But when I intend to chance something in the .ui file , I couldnt do that.

how can I solve this problem?

Can you state the exact problem you are having changing to a .ui file?

I do not have an exact error message .
I can explain this more clearly..
After I create my project, I generate a new .ui file(design it),I automake the project,configure ,make and make install it. It works. Then I make uninstall,make distclean,make some changes and I again configure,make and make install the project but I get the same screen again without an error.

it seems a bit strange. I think I miss something else.
