Gnome sound problem
I'm running gnome and I have ALSA installed. I have enabled "start sound server" in gnome settings. Now I can listen music perfectly with xmms (selected alsa as output plugin), but when watching a movie with xine (tried starting it with xine -A alsa, xine -A esd, xine -A esound....) I can't hear any sound and after setting volume bar on max at xine, it usually goes back to 0 after few seconds.
Some other audio programs I tried says that can't find /dev/dsp, now it doesn't exists, I guess it should?
My sound card is Cmedia 8738.

I solved the problem earlier. It said in README that run snddevices script if drivers older than 0.9x which wasn't the case. So I ran it and it did the job.
