anyone knows how to configure kde shell to work in gnome?
because there is no feature in new gnome to make the shell's background transparent. kde's still work.

this question is red hat 9.0 speciific, since i have seen kshell/konsole in gnome that comes with mandrake.

I believe aterm and eterm both have the functionality to make itself transparent. As for starting konsole, can't you use the run box from gnome and enter the full path to the konsole?
