How to close GNOME and go back to text mode?
I have actually another thread related to this but I didn't get a reply. The thing is I installed Xwindows using a generic VGA Xserver from the RH CD. Now I think I found the right RPM for my hardware. I installed it using GNOME terminal but it says it cannot proceed because Xwindow is running. How do I install this RPM? I think I can do it using text mode but there's no option for GNOME or Xwindows to be unloaded. Everytime I start my PC it also starts automatically at logon window. I don't know how to disable it from starting automatically.
