help, i just installed the Mandrake 10.0 on my computer using a dual boot system. mandrake loads fine but it ask me for login and password. I never set that up to use a login or password. i don't know how to bypass this to try the mandrake programs.

boot into single user mode, and at the bash# prompt type passwd. This will allow you to reset the root password. When you have the root password set I strongly advise that you create a new user and do not make a habit of logging in as root.
