Has anyone played with stuff yet? It looks comparable to Mac OS X's "fast user switch."

Sorry, that previous post should have read "Has anyone tried this stuff yet?"
Oh, no I haven't tried it (yet), but it sure looks nice (and too intense for my poor machine (read: problably is slow for me))
Yes, I've only got a 1.4 Ghz AMD with 256MB. Unless I can up the memory, I don't see myself installing this at this time.
That's definitely cool. I wonder just how "seemless" it would be. I guess there's only one way to find out...
Well, I finally tried this out last night and wow, it's pretty fun to play with. The only thing is that the Debian package has problems recognizing some of the command line arguments and the only way to tweak these settings is to edit the configuration file.
I also noticed that it looks pretty crappy on my LCD monitor. I'd like to try this on a CRT to see how good it really should look.
will someone please explain what the hell you are talking about?
Check out the link in the previous post (I believe it's an animated gif).
I was wondering, I have played games like "Counter Strike" before and the animation is pretty smooth but with 3ddesktop, it's not. Does anyone have this working on a CRT? I'd like to try this myself one day.
