    Help With Installing Programs


    I have just loaded mandrake onto my system ... and downloaded and installed a few new programs ... i was just wondering if it was possible to hide the Konsole for the programs that run through it .... and if so ... how would i go about doing so??

    you don't really need to run apps thru the konsole all the time.
    if you are using kde, you can add them to your menu using the menu editor or you can just press alt-F2 and then just type in the name of the app and it should run.

    * if you are using gnome, you are sol on that.
