File Types and Programs Tool
I just installed GNOME, so I am a complete newbie. I want to change the default action for a file, and the documentation tells me to open the File Types and Programs Tool. It's not in the Desktop Preferences folder. Where is it?

Check under the options for Nautilus (the file manager). If that doesn't work, see if there's a Gnome Control Panel and check there.
I don't use Gnome, so I can't be any more specific. Sorry.DISTRO=Arch
