Need help improving visual quality

Hmmm...usually Dolda's pretty quick with a good solution, so now I am kinda worried.

The resolution I need (1280 x 1024 at 60 Hz) seems pretty standard for 17 inch LCD's.

Anyone out there have the same that has the xfreeconfig file I can sneak a peek at?

I did some Google searching and looked at other forums and can't seem to find a lot. Heard a rumor SuSE 9.0 will be coming out soon -- maybe that will fix it.

if u run fglrx again what happens if u limit the monitor to 60Hz

if that doesnt work u could try turing down the max vertRefresh to 60

the only options you get is for vertical and horizontal sync

Got it working....

Fiddled around with the config-4 file, and figured what the hell -- uncommented the module line I wanted

Now I display with refresh of 60 Hz per xrandr.
