Editing KMenu
Hi
How to edit kmenu "by hand"? Where are the configuration files (which contain kmenu entries)?
I am running KDE 3.4 (SUSE 9.3). I tried to add a "Biochem" submenu into kmenu (using application kmenuedit). Then I added a "PyMOL" menu entry into "Biochem" submenu and saved the configuration. Suddenly there were two kmenu entries Biochem. When clicking on either of them PyMOL started. This behaviour seems very weird to me.
How to manually fox the kmenu?

I don't use KDE so can't look for the exact files, but I found this with a Google search. Hope it helps:

Thanks!
Thank you! The link is very useful, also the link to desktop menu specifications. Now I finally understant the logic behind KMenu.
Manual edit of mentioned directories and files finally solved my problems.
