Need help resolving "Error - KDesktop"

On startup I'm receiving the following error message window:

Titlebar reads: "Error - KDesktop"

Error message in window reads:

"Could not start process Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Unknown protocol 'devices'."

The only response presented is to click on an OK button.

Any ideas and/or suggestions on how I can find out what's specifically causing this error?

I left this help msg on several Linux Forums around the net and no one offered a solution at any of them, but I saw plenty of other msgs where other ppl had had the same or very similar problem... so... here's my solution for all of you!!

Reinstall Konqueror because Klauncher is part of Konqueror, I found it in KDEBase (part 3).

** IMPORTANT NOTE!! Make SURE you make it a FORCED update, no matter if the files are newer or not, than what's already been installed... or the update won't do anything!!
