Newbie question re KDE theme installer
I feel pretty dumb! I managed to ./configure, make, and make install the KDE Theme Installer, and I figured the worst was over, but how the hell do I get the prog to run? I've been though all the menus I could find and also gone direct to the directory to try to run binaries, but no luck.
I installed in /usr/local/bin, and I'm wondering if maybe I should have installed into a different directory.
I'm running Mandrake 10.1 official and KDE 3.2
Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think you're being dumb! One obvious question, did the install go smoothly?? Were there any error messages during ./configure, make, make install??
If you installed to /usr/local/bin (which is the recommended place, so no worries there!) then it must be in there somewhere. Try sorting the files in there by date and see if there is anything new from today (or whenever you installed it).
Hope you get this sorted!Registered Linux user #388328 || Registered LFS user #15880

Thanks for the reply. The install process went smoothly, and all the files are there in their own directory under /usr/local/bin, but I can't get any one of them to execute. I wonder if I need to change the file permission to executable? The problem is I don't know the name of the relevant executable file. According to the install instructions it should show up under the configure menu, but there's nothing there as far as I can see.
