Hi. I've just got my soundcard working, but I have a problem with the volume control applet in my GNOME panel. It can be set to control the volume of a channel, by right-clicking ang choosing preferences, where you decide which channel to control. I want the control the master output (of course), however, my stereo master output shows up as two separate mono channels. This means that I can only make the volume control operate either the left or right channel, which isn't very useful. Is there a way to make the volume control applet control more than one channel simultaneously (there was nothing about it in the GNOME help), or can it be edited to do this?
