    Is there any way to enable window snapping in Gnome?

    I am not sure, but gnome can be used with any windowmanager you want, so if not you can use gnome along with a windowmanager which does have window snapping.

    I'm not currently using Gnome, but I don't recall it having any built-in window snapping features at this time. I'm sure someone will step in with more info if that's incorrect.

    You could have GNOME start KWin on startup.
