where to change the kde splash screen most of says in control center in apperences but i didn't find the one
anyone having any idea ??

In addition to changing the KDE splash screen, here are instructions for changing the GRUB boot manager back ground for SuSE-10.0 distribution. I do not know if other distributions use the same technique.

I found on my PC, the maximum .jpg size for the grub backgrund was around 48k.
