Problem with KDE clipboard
I have noticed that when I try and copy and paste, lets say I copy a url out of a browser and then I close the browser before I paste the url to whereever it is I want to, (lets say for the sake of this thread, a gaim window), it won't paste. It's as if the clipboard forgets what was on it. Someone told me it is a setting somewhere, anyone know why the clipboard looses its info?

I have had that problem too. I have Klipper in the system tray though and it seems to work at getting the last few things I copy. Maybe you could give that a try.

Make sure you're not highlighting anything, as that's considered copying in X.
