Special characters in GNOME
On Windows and the Macintosh, when entering special characters, like an acute e, for example, one can type them directly from the keyboard (for example, ALT-0233 on Windows, or Option-e+e on the Macintosh). Can something similar be done with Linux (specifically, in FC4 running GNOME)?
