Sound notifications still play when sound system is turned off
This is strange. In kcontrol->Sound & Multimedia->Sound System, I uncheck "Enable the sound system", and run ps -aux | grep arts to verify that the daemon has been shut down. Yet the notifications still play, in Konsole and when I log into or out of KDE. Anyone know how this could be happening?
