KDE not working, which log to look into?
Hi guys,
my KDE had stopped working after I had updated OpenOffice.org via apt-get. When I downgraded the package back everything was ok. This same happens with kdelibs package but at this point downgrading the package doesn't help. My KDE starts with blank screen and only mouse cursor visible. Which log should I look into to find what's wrong? I also tried to run Sax (Suse X-config tool), but it just kicks me back to console with no explanation.
Thanks a lot.

You would have to have looked in /var/log/X.org.0.log
In fact, you can find many useful logs in /var/log.How to know if you are a geek.
when you respond to "get a life!" with "what's the URL?"
