Limited colours and resolution
I recently installed RedHat 7.3, but can only go to 8bit colour and 800 x 600 res when auto probed! My graphics card is a "Geforce 4 Ti4400" and monitor is a "SONY CPD-G220". I attempted to manually set up my card and monitor through Xconfigurator, the res was fine but unless i choose 8 or 16bit colour Xwindows fails to load. I know this is nothing major but any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any replies

make sure in /etc/X11/XF86Config your the driver your card is using is "nv" for nvidia. You can also download a binary only (aka crap) driver from NVidia itself, that will work somewhat.
I respectfully decline the invitation to join your delusion.
