    Unhappy can't connect ot X

    hi,
I can't display anything from another box, the simlest example is below.

when I am on a prompt the display is 0.0, everything is fine.
if i try to echo back from another box, can't connect. (done below by directing to localhost)
    xhosts is off.
    iptables are stopped.

i've never really had to configure X before, so i don't have too much of an idea what i'm doing, but it's a real pain in the bum

    Code:
    [dhcp122] echo $DISPLAY
    :0.0
    [dhcp122] xclock
    [dhcp122] setenv DISPLAY localhost:0.0
    [dhcp122] xclock
    Error: Can't open display: localhost:0.0
    [dhcp122] setenv DISPLAY :0.0
    [dhcp122] xhost
access control disabled, clients can connect from any host
