    Dock into panel

    Hi

    I have recently shifted to Gentoo from Fedora Core 4. I am using KDE 3.4. Now the problem is that when i close the window for GAIM, instead of docking to panel (as it used to do in Fedora, Ubuntu, SUSE, Mandrake etc.) it closes the application. How do I change this?

    go to preferences then plugins then select system-tray icon. select that and make sure its enabled. that should do it.
