    gdm problem

    hi im using rh9 and the gdm to swicht from users by default
    and i have a system error and gnome and the gdm cant be loaded

    how i can use the terminal without entering in a desktop eviroment like using failsafe. Can this be done from the boot diskette of grub of the command line of grub (grub and linux load everything fine)

    press ctrl+alt+f1 to change to a terminal.

    change ur window manager by editing /etc/sysconfig/desktop

    xdm and kdm are probably good guesses at what else will be isntalled.
