    Window manager history

    I remember a while ago I came across a picture that showed the history of window managers; it showed which window manager inspired another. Does anyone know of where I could find this again? I thought it was really cool.

    I don't recall that, I saw a similar picture but with various UNIXes. Wikipedia has a great site on WM's:

    I usually go to http://xwinman.org/ when I want any info about Linux window managers. I don't recall them having a picture of window manager history, though.
