I am currently running a 64 bit PC with 2 NVidia 7800GT video cards that are in SLI. Whenever the graphical splash screen starts, it appears scrambled as if it got shaken horizontally. This happened with Gnome on Ubuntu (x64) and the graphical installer for Fedora 5 (x64) which is KDE (I think). The weird thing is that there is no problem when I use a regular (x86) version of Ubuntu. I would, however like to harness the extra speed of the 64 processor.

Is this a problem with NVidia's drivers? Should I just stick with x86 based distros? And a somewhat unrelated question, would ndiswrapper work under a x64 based distro?
