    KDE Fails to start

I've recently installed KDE 3.5.2 which went succesfully.

Whenever KDE tries to initialise (splash screen) it hangs on either the 2nd or 3rd step (just flashes either the HD or Monitor icons). After this it simply returns me to login screen.

I can't check for errors because when I press ctrl+alt+backspace it switches back to the X server automatically. I don't know where to find any kde logs either.

    My distribution is Zenwalk 2.6.

    Bailz.

kill all login managers and use the concole to run it, "startx /path/to/startkde" then use ctrl+alt+f1 to see errors
