    ok so i downloaded this window manager, did the
    make install
    but now what do i do? how do i make it start when i startx?

    Traditionaly you would type "startx enlightenment"

    however this relies on your XFree86Config file being set up corectly. What distro are you useing? (add it to your profile)

    If startx enlightenment does not work then you have to edit this file: "~.XFree86Config" or if it does not exist then edit this one: (as root) /etc/X11/XFree86Config and at the end where it says the name of your current windowmanager, change it to enlightenment.

    now when you type startx enlightenment will load
