so i'm trying to get my gnome to look cool...

hey all,

i went to this site

and i downloaded what looked like those 4 required files. and in one of them it told me to stick the two folders in my .theme folder which i did and that it would show up in my theme manager. and it didnt

so i'm trying to get this to work and was just wondering what i was doing wrong...

also any other tips on making my desktop look cool?

You should be able to open up the theme preferences window and then click on theme details, and drag to tar file into it and it should install properly.

Tell me about. I've been trying for a week to get gcursor to install correctly on my Fedora Core 5 installation. I just won't work at all. I gave up. Now I remember putting my cursors in my .icns folder in my home folder using Ubuntu, but now I don't remember how I got that to work. I hate standard cursors.
