Interesting bug - X locks up
I've encountered this problem several times, and it's beginning to annoy me. It always happens when I'm using MPlayer on one monitor and Opera on the other at seemingly random moments, but it happens more often when I open an aterm or a new Opera tab. X locks up completely (Ctrl-Alt-Backspace doesn't work). Well, almost completely: my mouse cursor will still move. If I kill X remotely, it leaves the screen in an unusable state, forcing me to reboot.
Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? What could I do other than report it or refrain from using MPlayer and Opera at the same time?Flies of a particular kind, i.e. time-flies, are fond of an arrow.

I'm currently using the GL output, and I'll get to experimenting to see if it occurs with other outputs later today.
