GTK theme messing firefox up!??! please help

my GTK theme is messing with firefox's font colors...this does not happen in mozilla, or opera.
is there any way i could disable the fact that firefox uses my GTK theme, or is there a way to specify which GTK theme, other than the system default, is used?
help would be appreciated

well opera uses qt, not gtk. google up on gtk themeing, im pretty sure there is a way to specify certian apps to use certian colors
