    open folders in new window-why???


    when i get into a new folder GNOME opens a new window with the contents of this folder.how can i change it?i wanna open the folder in the same window.how can i cope with this?thanks

    Yes, you can change it. Open up a window and look for a "Preferences" or "Settings" menu (I'm not looking at it this second so I can't give you specifics.) The option you want to check is "Always open in Browser" or something to that effect.
