Desktop icons won't move in KDE

    Hi All,

Fedora Core 1 and KDE 3.1.4-4 Red Hat

The icons on my desktop won't move anymore. When I try to move them I get the circle with a line through it and they jump back to where they were when I let go. They will move around when I right click > icons > line up etc. but I can not change their location. I can only go between horizontal and verticle. This happened once before but the problem was no longer there once I rebooted. Now a reboot doesn't fix it. Thanks for any info on how to fix this.

Well. I managed to fix it but I don't know what got fixed. I logged into root and saw that I could move the icons on that desktop, so I logged back into my desktop and I can move them now. I'd still like to know what causes this and what fixed it if anyone knows.
