Ive finally got my open GL files installed (MesaLib and glut 3.7) , quite a messy job as well but it works.

I still have this error message though

Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".

can someone tell me what it is or what i need to do? I am still able to compile and run programs however.

BTW im using Linux RedHat 9.

    Suggestions?

In the module section of the XF86Config, make sure there is the entry: load "DRI" and or "GLX"
When using the nvidia drivers only use "GLX" not "DRI"
