Ive finally got my open GL files installed (MesaLib and glut 3.7) , quite a messy job as well but it works.
I still have this error message though

Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display
Ive finally got my open GL files installed (MesaLib and glut 3.7) , quite a messy job as well but it works.
I still have this error message though
Xlib: extension "XFree86-DRI" missing on display ":0.0".
can someone tell me what it is or what i need to do? I am still able to compile and run programs however.
BTW im using Linux RedHat 9.

In the module section of the XF86Config, make sure there is the entry: load "DRI" and or "GLX"
When using the nvidia drivers only use "GLX" not "DRI"---[ MS09-99896 - Vulnerability in All MS Windows OS ; Using Windows Could Allow Remote Code Execution. ]---
Hardware: Asus P4P800, 1GB, P4-3Ghz, Asus V9950, Maxtor ATA HD\'s, 3Com GBit lan, Audigy ZS Plat.
