I am a relatively new user running Ubuntu Edgy and i am trying to gain access to my Vertual Terminals, although pressing Ctrl+Alt+Fn will not bring any of them up. I have used ps -A | grep tty to check they are all there, which they are, and i can change to them using sudo chvt n so this well and truely verifies that they are indeed there and functioning. So i took a look at my /etc/X11/xorg.conf file and just to be safe i made an entry for DontVTSwitch and set it to off, which should be the default already, still to no avail. I then took a look at my /var/log/Xorg.0.log which i could not see any obvious in... although i have pasted below an extract from it after having used chvt to enter my virtual terminals...

I am thinking this is an ATI problem, but that is still a guess at best... If anyone can help me with this any help is GREATLY appreciated!
