    Gnome themes...

I'm having trouble finding the right one for me. I need one that's dark but not so dark as to hurt my eyes when I read Linux forums, which are generally quite bright. Forums are white as to not hurt people's eyes but to be honest my eyes are much better suited to darker colours.

I'd like one with fancy designs and stuff too that'd be nice, they're hard to find... I've been through gnome-look and art.gnome.org but can't find one for me... wondering if someone could recommend one.

Take a look at http://www.gnome-look.org/ ? Dark themes are hard to come by though. Sad really.

    Lightbulb Clearlooks...

    Hi..
If u do a search for gnome themes using yum u might come across the Clearlooks additional packages...
Clearlooks (default in FC5) uses some cool effects and its Lilac controls are quite dark and easy on the eyes....mebbe u can try it out...
The additional package has Dark Coffee2 which is a combination of black n brown
these are some of the dark themes I've come across for GNOME...mebbe this helps..
