    XF86ConFig............HOW ???


    I`m trying to config my graphics card but even when i manage to change the config in SU it say`s "permission denied"when i go to save it ?

    All i want to know is how do i config XF86Config ?

    Suse 9.0
    KDE 3.1

    Sounds to me like you're not root.

    Try loggin into a blank terminal as root and try again.

    I am root, Suse has a super user mode in one of it`s terminals ?

    Typing"whoami"has me as "root"

    This may be true, but i agree with kriss. Try logging into a terminal as root. Not a guarantee, but if u ever have probs accessin stuff sayin permission denied, go for it logged in as root, not a user then su to root.
