i kno someone posted below that there is no best windows manager. still, im wondering wut everyone is using. i am currently using blackbox, and was wondering if there was anything else worth checking out. i heard sawfish is pretty good. just post wut u r running and most likely i'll end up checking out the more popular ones. im fairly new to linux so i want to know my options. thanks guys

I'm running sawfish, because of its massive configurability. It's not very memory-efficient, but that's not really a problem for me.

I'm kinda liking sawfish aswell, especially with gnome 2 in RH8. :P
But fluxbox is blazing fast on my gentoo machine!!!!
