Matlab shortcut
Weird problem. Any time I create a shortcut on the KDE taskbar or desktop to open Matlab it doesn't work, but when I start it from the command line, it starts with no problem. The weird thing is that I created a Matlab shortcut on another user's desktop, and it worked with no problem -- the stupid thing is that this user isn't licensed to use Matlab, so I have to start it as the licensed user (using kdesu I presume), which means they have to enter my password!
So, why does it work with kdesu from an un-licensed user's desktop, but it doesn't work from the licensed user's?Registered Linux user #388328 || Registered LFS user #15880

konsole -e /usr/bin/matlab
This launches Matlab but it leaves an extra konsole window which is slightly annoying...
