    using fvwm-crystal desktop

    so i just installed a bunch of different desktop environments for my ubuntu system and I really like the setup for the fvwm-crystal desktop..except i can't really figure out how to configure anything. Does anybody have any experience with this desktop environment? I noticed that I have access to the gnome and kde control center but will they control the crystal environment? any idea how to add/edit panels?

    whoa, i really fudged this up. I changed the default desktop manager to nautilus and now all of my panels have disappeared and I can't add them back Everything looks like my gnome desktop now too.

    got it back to normal. I deleted the root file for crystal that said "default desktop manager" and changed the recipe back to default. Still any help with the original question would be awesome.
