Problem with start kde
I got Mandrake 10.0, sucessfully installed it along with GRUB. I rebooted the machine after installation. Got pass the user login/password promp and then got to the promp {localhost@localdomain}$ or something like that. I typed in startkde after $, but then whole bunch of promp saying that "Cannot open display"and "Cannot connect to X-Serve" so I can't get in the K desktop environment. I am totally new to this OS, please offer some guidance.
I got a Geforce 4 Ti 4200 using Mandrake generic driver.

How do you run X86Config after I done with installation, I using GURB, what command I need to input to bring up the config menu.
I also tried to run 'startx' after the login/password promp, but the screen just turned dark after that command.
I have a relatively new LCD panel, I chose FLAT PANEL 1280 x 1024 during installation.
Thanks
