    Thai and firefox

I go to a number of websites that have both English and Thai on the same page. The English displays correctly, the Thai does not. I need to get the Thai to display correctly, because now it covers up part of the English and makes the page unuseable. And later I will be learning to read and write Thai. Can anyone give me simple directions for getting my computer to display Thai?
